MBA programs to its employees - Seoul Optodevice / Seoul Semiconductor

Seoul Semiconductor / Seoul Optodevice announced to provide MBA program to all of its directors to enhance the capabilities and achieve the vision to become the world’s top LED company.
Sangnam Institute of Management, established by Yonsei University, will provide the program to its employees. Seoul Semiconductor / Optodevice pursue to sustain its growth with directors specialized experience at work with managerial theories by providing top managerial programs.
The program is scheduled for 6 month, starting August, 2010 to Jan. 2011. The curriculum includes courses on 5 core areas of management: strategic management, marketing, financial accounting, organization&HR management, and production management. Also, management trend and leadership programs will be provided as special lectures. Directors will enhance their capabilities by case studies on business strategies of Seoul Semiconductor / Optodevice.

They established LED engineering department with Korea Polytechnic University in 2008, which provides courses to its college graduates. They started 2 new course targeting undergraduate students, striving to train the professionals.
